What To Expect
Walking into a new church can be intimidating and at times terrifying. If you’ve made it this far on our page, we encourage you to take the next step and pay us a visit. We can’t fully describe what you will experience, but at least we can try to give you an idea of what to expect.
On a Sunday morning you’ll see some people in a suit and tie, others in a t-shirt and jeans, and a lot in between. If your “Sunday best” is jeans and a shirt, then put them on and come and visit.
Money
Yep, we take offerings, because that is how we pay for everything. But we don’t expect that of guests, so don’t let that be a barrier to visiting.
Style
We have what some would call traditional services. We don’t have mood lights or fog machines, as we find that a bit distracting and unnecessary. We don’t believe that God is interested in your emotions, He’s interested in your heart. We want God to have our complete attention.
Preaching and Teaching
All of our teaching and preaching is focused on helping people understand what the Bible says, and how it applies to us today. We use the King James Bible, so if you have one bring it, but we also have some available to use.
Music
We keep it simple. We sing traditional hymns with words that draw our attention to what God has done for us, and what He still wants to do.
